Challenge needs your testimony of new life in Jesus!

Challenge is written for non-Christians, to help them discover the Lord Jesus Christ through personal stories of how people came to trust in Him as their Lord and Saviour and the difference He has made to their lives.

We always need new stories and your testimony does not have to be an extraordinary story at all, because most readers have not lived extraordinary lives either.

Every conversion to Jesus Christ is a miracle, and is a wonderful means of witnessing to a lost world.

You can write your testimony online or, if you prefer you can use a testimony outline sheet of 5 questions, about life before you came to know Jesus Christ personally, how you committed your life to Him, and about your life now. We have made these outline questions available as a Microsoft Word document, Open Document Format documnet and a PDF. You can post it to us or upload it on the your testimony page.

Your testimony may be published in a number of countries, including Australia, USA, South Africa and on our web sites.

About writing a testimony

The testimony outline sheet is the guide we use for testimonies, written in chronological order about what people seeking Christ most need to hear.

When you write, try to avoid using terms and phrases that only
Christians would understand
. And tell people the truth about yourself – your failures, problems and hopes — as people read that they will (God willing) believe what you have to say about your faith too.

If you have any queries, please write to us! If you feel God is leading you to share your testimony, I pray that writing it is a blessing to you, and I know it will be too for many thousands of people who don’t (yet!) know Christ.

Mad Hatter Faith

One of the most convincing arguments for Christianity for me is how bizarrely counter-intuitive it is. It is a crazy Alice in Wonderland religion that turns “normal” ideas on their head!

What person would have been able to invent a religion where paradox is paramount? Where the more you give, the more you gain? Where the rich are poor and the poor are rich? Where dying (to yourself) is living and living (to yourself) is dying? Where you have to give everything up to gain the whole world? Where you treat your enemies like your friends, instead of exacting revenge on them? Where you love those who hate you and hate those who love you? (The last in the context of loving Christ Jesus so much that you are willing to disregard or abandon those you love to follow His will.)

Getting Grateful

Christmas 2021

This Christmas, the second Covid Christmas of the world,  it would be easy to focus on the negative – foreign holidays we can’t go on, overseas family that we can’t see, online gifts that are delayed or unavailable. There may also be the more serious issues of a loved one passed or sick from Covid (or some other illness or accident), a lost job, less money due to reduced hours or lockdowns, or relationships that have failed due to enforced distance or smothering closeness.

American author Max Lucado says, “The good life begins not when circumstances change but when our attitude toward them does.”Continue reading

Challenge is a bi-monthly paper that includes testimonies of lives changed by the Lord Jesus Christ. It is written in an easy to read manner purposely for the non-Christian. What makes Challenge unique is that it is written specifically for the person on the street that may never enter a church. Besides testimonies, Challenge includes articles on good health, science, better marriages, parenting, and sports, as well as games for children and recipes for homemakers.
